Doc Severinsen & His Big Band are back on tour. The Grammy-winning trumpeter and former "Tonight Show" bandleader has assembled some of the finest musicians from around the country. Their repertoire includes Ellington and Basie standards, pop, jazz, ballads, big band classics and, of course, "The Tonight Show" theme. Finally, you'll hear the depth of talent of a band that was rarely heard playing a whole tune on the air.

Marienthal first drew notice from his work with Chick Corea's Elektric Band, recording six albums and winning two Grammys. He has since produced 13 solo recordings, as well as credits alongside such artists as Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Dave Weckl, the Rippingtons, and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band.
