The Dakota’s FREE 40th Anniversary Block Party runs from 2-10pm. The party takes over Nicollet Mall outside the Dakota and the indoor stage. At 7pm, on the indoor stage, catch Patty Peterson’s Jazz Women All-Stars featuring (as pictured) vocalists Patty Peterson, Ginger Commodore, and Connie Evingson, bassist Joan Griffith, pianist Mary Louise Knutson, drummer Shiela Earley, and saxophonist Stephanie Wieseler.
