Bill Evans first joined the Miles Davis group in 1980 at the age of 22 and has continued with a career that includes collaborations with Herbie Hancock, Dave Grusin, John Scofield, Bela Fleck and Mick Jagger. He has recorded eighteen solo CDs, and received two Grammy nominations. In 2010, Evans recorded Vans Joint, a live release of Evans tunes with the WDR Big Band in Cologne. The JazzMN Orchestra will perform selections from this award-winning CD.

Starkey fits more than 100,000 hearing aids annually to children and adults around the globe.  This year's gala will welcome a star-studded list of special guests and entertainers, yet to be announced. The gala is Starkey Hearing Foundation's largest annual fundraiser, raising a record-setting $8.7 million to support the Foundation's charitable work in 2016.  Mary Louise performs in the show's "Tonight Show"-style 12-piece band which provides entrance and exit music for the guest speakers and dignitaries, and backs up the musical guest artists. Last year's special guests included comedian Sinbad, musicians Steven Tyler, Darius Rucker, John Fogerty, Grace VanderWaal, ARIA, Portia Clarkand, and more.
