This long-awaited solo piano arrangement of the title track from jazz pianist Mary Louise Knutson's latest CD captures the feeling of an incredibly fun trip she took to Costa Rica with friends. The piece begins with a lively left hand bass line which is soon complemented by playful chord punctuations in the right hand. The main theme unfolds with a smooth and lighthearted melody, lush jazz harmonies, and an easy-going bossa nova groove. A solo section follows, offering you the option to play the transcription of Knutson's solo from the original recording or improvise a solo yourself. One more chorus of the theme and a return of the playful introduction brings the piece full circle. Repeated eight note chords crescendo into a bright staccato ending.
